Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions about our sprinkler and irrigation services.
When should I schedule spring sprinkler startup?
In Centennial and the Denver metro area, we recommend scheduling startup between late April and mid-May, after consistent overnight temperatures stay above freezing. We activate your system, check for winter damage, adjust heads, and ensure everything is running efficiently.
When should I winterize my sprinkler system?
Fall winterization (blowout) should happen before the first hard freeze, typically between late September and early November. We use compressed air to remove all water from your pipes and heads, preventing freeze damage.
How do I know if my sprinkler system needs repairs?
Common signs include: dry or brown patches despite watering, water pooling in certain areas, reduced water pressure, sprinkler heads not popping up or rotating properly, unusually high water bills, or visible leaks.
Can you install a new sprinkler system?
Yes, we design and install complete irrigation systems. We assess your landscape, design zones for efficient coverage, and install quality components. We also upgrade existing systems with new heads, valves, or smart controllers.
What are smart irrigation controllers?
Smart controllers adjust watering based on weather, soil conditions, and plant needs. They connect to Wi-Fi for remote control and can significantly reduce water usage. We install and program these systems for optimal efficiency.
Do you work on drip irrigation systems?
Absolutely. Drip irrigation is excellent for garden beds, trees, and xeriscaping. We install, repair, and maintain drip systems as standalone solutions or integrated with traditional sprinklers.
Why is proper irrigation important in Colorado's climate?
Colorado’s semi-arid climate means lawns and landscapes depend on efficient irrigation. Proper system maintenance ensures even coverage, prevents overwatering or underwatering, and protects your landscaping investment while conserving water.
What areas do you serve for irrigation services?
We provide sprinkler and irrigation services throughout Centennial, Littleton, Highlands Ranch, Englewood, Lone Tree, Greenwood Village, Cherry Hills Village, Parker, and surrounding South Denver metro communities.
